First Day

12.00   
 You will arrive in Halong bay and alight on your Starlight cruise. You will be welcomed by the staff and briefed on the cruise itinerary and safety instructions. Check in to your room and the cruise sets off on its course through Ha Long bay
12.30    Savor a delicious lunch that is sure to set precedent for the rest of your meals throughout the cruise. Watch through your window as the ship passes Stone Dog, Incense Burner and Fighting Cocks islets
14.30    The cruise stops at Van Gia fishing village, where you can experience first hand the lives and lifestyles of a people that have built for themselves a community at the base of the limestone islets, cultivating the waters as farmers tend the fields, learning to swim before they learn to walk!
15.15    The cruise takes you to the Lan Ha area where you will swim and laze at Three Peaches Beach, kayak around the area or even play a bit of mini-golf 
16.30    Head to the site for overnight anchorage.
17.30 – 19.00   Happy hour at the bar might encourage you to join in on the cooking demonstration held onboard
19.00 – 21.30   After your evening meal try your hand at squid fishing, or just relax and count the stars from a chair on the sundeck

06.00 – 07.00    Rise bright and early to watch as the limestone karsts are painted all the colors of a Vietnamese sunrise. This most sacred time of day is best celebrate with a Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck where you will release the flow of your spiritual energies and align yourself with the rhythms of the day
07.00 – 08.00    Enjoy a tasty morning tea or biscuits and fruit with some refreshing coffee or tea
08.00    Visit Sung Sot (amazing) cave, where you will wander through vast caverns dripping with stalactites and walled with cascades of glittering rock, all masterfully illuminated by colored lights
09.30    Sail along the green ribbon of water weaving through Bai Tu Long bay and past some of Halong bay’s distinctive formations, including the aptly named Man’s Head island. 10 00 - 10 30: Arrange your luggage and check out of your cabin
10.30 – 11.30    Savor your last meal onboard Starlight Cruise and watch as one by one the limestone karsts recede into the background
11.40    Disembarkation at the mainland marks the conclusion of your cruise. Await your transfer back to Hanoi

We suggest a small, lightweight daypack for cameras, extra film, drinking water, sun protection, light, comfortable clothes, something warm (between the months of December and March), swimming gear, passport & spending money in Vietnamese Dong, both open and sport shoes, insect repellent.

06.00 – 07.00    Rise bright and early to bare your spiritual energies in an instruction of the ancient art of Tai Chi as the sun rises over the bay.. or elect to pull the covers a little tighter and sleep in until breakfast is served at 7:00 
07.00 – 08.00    Both morning tea of biscuits and fruits and coffee and tea for the panda-eyed are available at the dining area
08.30    Alight the day boat that will facilitate the day’s explorations of Lan Ha bay, where you will swim in the pristine waters, relax up on the sundeck and collect a golden sheen on your skin to inspire jealousy back home, kayak up close to the soaring limestone cliffs and navigate the nooks and niches of the area’s secluded lagoons. For those cycling enthusiasts you may elect to enjoy a short ride to Viet Hai village on Cat Ba island
16.30    Return to Starlight Cruise after a full day of fun and discovery

Deluxe cabin

There are 12 deluxe cabins onboard the Starlight vessels, all sized at 22m2 and featuring expansive windows opening out onto the ocean, marble ensuite bathroom and unlimited hot water, air-conditioning, complimentary water, and all necessary safety equipment. Ask for your preference of twin beds or double bed.

Executive cabin

There are 18 executive cabins onboard the Starlight vessels, all sized at 22m2 and featuring expansive windows opening out onto the ocean, marble ensuite bathroom and unlimited hot water, air-conditioning, complimentary water, and all necessary safety equipment. Located on the 2nd deck, the executive cabins offer excellent views of the bay. Ask for your preference of twin beds or double bed.

Suite Balcony cabin

There are 2 exclusive Suite Balcony cabins onboard Starlight Cruise. Each measures at 50m2 and is built with private balcony from which you may enjoy the unfolding splendor of the bay in pleasant seclusion. The Suite Balcony combines the infinite space of an unenclosed area with the cosiness of an inner space, bringing you the best of both for an overall atmosphere of freedom and ease.
